uDevGames, next year.

So, right at the contest deadline, and after some quick project documents, a lot of thought and even pulling together a team, I regret announcing that I will not be participating in the uDevGames.com contest.

Why? Well, thankfully I’ve found greener pastures. I will actually be developing an iPhone game. So, there will actually be some progress to watch for over the next month, but the end product will take a different form.

I have found a 3d modeler, sound technician and a voice actor for my uDevGames entry. Now to finish up the design and planning, then allow you all a first glimpse at what is to come.

I’ve been drafting a letter to my loyal Waddlecows over at Waddlefield.com. They’ve been with me for several months, tinkering with my online strategy game. Unfortunately I’ve put development on pause, longer than I anticipated. It’s disheartening, but it’s not all ill-news. The reason for this change in priorities is because of things actually going well for Waddlefarm Studios.

uDevGames Competition

uDevGames is the annual Mac game development competition hosted by iDevGames. They give you three months to develop a game, start to finish, and have about $20,000 worth of prizes to give away to winners.
