Status Check: February

A slow month, with my relocation from Hamburg to Vancouver mid-way through. I will also be reorganizing my project priorities and laying down the groundwork for my next game project.

NickBreslin.com – Relaunch
I’ve finished the transition of my personal website to it’s new design. The copy is mostly the same, but in March I’ll be spending some time updating all of it. Eventually I’d like to bring in the Waddlefarm content as well, with a similar design for the blog as well.

dimeRocker
This blog is going to contain a lot of dimeRocker-related news and content in the coming months. For the next couple of weeks I’m going to be working on tutorials. This is going to be ground-breaking for Unity and social media.

The World is Flat
Cubees is being re-branded as The World is Flat for it’s dimeRocker deployment. I will be using portions of this deployment to demonstrate dimeRocker’s functionality in the dimeRocker tutorials.

Digory
Digory is a new sprite art project which, like The World is Flat, originally released for desktop/web, but remaining optimized well enough for eventual iPhone deployment. With my experience with this over the last few months I am much more knowledgeable about 2d art optimization. I’m using the GUIManager 2 package, which I’m familiar with from Waddlefield. With GM2 I also get a very simple animation implementation, which is going to really bring the 2d world to life.
