This is embarrassing. I forgot about a Memory Game that I made a couple of months ago in Unity. I’m excited because I get to release it to the public (woo!) but at the same time I’m thinking maybe the game doesn’t improve your memory too much (at least not mine).
I made a prototype for an English teaching school here in Germany. They have a Flash web portal for their students with a few simple games on it. They were looking for some more games and approached me for a prototype.
It’s simple. The target audience is 3-6 years old, and learning to speak English. The game features simple English vocabulary and pictures (well, colors). The idea would be to expand this to feed from a pool of vocab cards with pictures and words. This one just did colors (glossy and pretty) and words.
It offers a random level every time a game is started, little spinning cards and feedback based on the result of the card flipping.
Maybe if I play it a few more times I won’t forget about it again.

Forgetting about a memory game … har, the irony!
Can you “enhance” the game? Like putting more fields (like 6×6 or 10×10) to it?
I hope you didn’t forget that I “stole” Terra Nullius btw. Somehow. The story’s coming along well. Not exactly great, but well.
Do you have a day-off today too, up there?
G.
I think eventually when I can get some good art I’ll do a little memory game.
Oh I didn’t forget. My Terra is currently down, switching web hosts.
Yeah, we have the day off. Yay for holidays
